Wireless Access Points, allow computers to be connected to each other within in a radius of approximately 2 kilometres.
Once a connection is made wirelessly, it is then possible to make use of the resources available on the main network, such as file sharing, printer sharing, email and internet access.
The example below shows how two offices in close proximity can be linked together with wireless. This links happens seamlessly, and each office can access the other offices P.C and peripherals, as if they were in the same office.
Based on the example below, the Sub office will be able to gain access to the Internet and Email via the ADSL line in the Main Office.

In the example below, two separate branches are connected using Virtual Private Networking (VPN).
The Johannesburg branch is using and ADSL line to access the Internet, and the Cape Town branch is using Wireless to access the Internet. Through the use of a VPN, both branches are able to access each other P.C's and printers as if they were on a network in the same building. Using this process it is also possible to setup telephone calls between the two branches.
